U9 SPRING ISLAND LEAGUE

A league for Junior Tigers players to develop both team and individual skills through game play in a fun environment.
Age:
U9 (7-9 years old - 2016, 2017)
League Description:
-Players of different abilities welcomed
-Same coaches throughout the season for consistency
-Fun environment for players to learn the game and grow their skills
-Equal playing time for all players
League Prerequisites:
-Minimum 2 years of hockey experience
-Minimum 2 years of skating experience
League Aim:
-Accelerate the development of hockey skills and game play
-Introduce game tactics (forechecking, defensive zones, special teams)
-Have fun and develop a passion for hockey
